World Products Warhawk LS7X Blocks are made of rugged 357-T6 aircraft aluminum alloy. Equipped with both late LS1 and standard SB-Chevy motor mounts. Priority main oiling feeds crankshaft first and top-end last. Accommodates dry sump systems - scavenge pick-up at rear of block. Billet steel C5R style main cap with 200,000 psi ARP studs. Choice of 9.240" or 9.800" deck heights. Cam bores can be machined up to 60mm. Provisions for two extra head studs per cylinder. Stud holes counter bored to eliminate distortion. Available in 4.000" or 4.125" bore with .100" dry sleeves and .300" aluminum support. Crankcase accepts 4.250" stroke crank. Accommodates all standard GM LS-series componentsRace Prepped Blocks:

Dry Sump Systems Not Required LS7-equipped Corvettes come with a dry sump because early testing was said to have shown excessive main and rod bearing wear. GM's cure was to use an expensive dry sump oil system. World's solution was to design the Warhawk with priority main oiling. Lubricant goes from the bearings, then up top. |
