Racers with late model Ford Mustangs will appreciate these exquisite blocks developed by noted Ford engine specialists, Sean Hyland Motorsports.
Made from a high-density 356-T6 aluminum alloy in a short (4.6L) or tall (5.4L) deck, these blocks are designed to handle extreme cylinder pressures. They have external oil drainbacks for improved strength and flow. Floors have been raised .750" for shorter water jackets, and walls are thicker than OEM to accommodate large bore sleeves. The short deck block can be bored to 3.700" and is clearanced for a 4.125" stroke crank, providing up to 354ci. The tall deck block can handle a 4.500" stroke crank for a displacement of 387ci. Deck thickness has been increased over stock to 13mm. Deep skirt wall thickness in the valley area has been increased from 6 to 10.5mm with three ribs added for more torsional strength.Additional Tech Specifications
