ICT Billet Engine Block Torque Plates

Torque plates are designed to closely replicate the stress and distortion on cylinder walls induced by cylinder heads torqued in place. By using a torque plate when honing cylinder bores, the cylinder walls will stay round once the cylinder head is installed. Most importantly, better piston ring sealing can be attributed to using a torque plate, resulting in better oil control and more power. ICT Billet engine block plates are manufactured from premium aerospace grade USA 6061-T6 billet aluminum.
